Q1 – When does the Fall 2020 semester start?

The Fall 2020 semester starts on:

  • October 25th for undergraduate students
  • November 15th for foundation program (EPP) students

Q2 – How can I find my schedule?

Your schedule is available on Moodle:

AUM Website -> Student Links -> My AUM Portal -> Student Links -> My Schedule

Q3 – What is AUM Online Learning platform and (Moodle) and how can I access it?

Moodle is the online learning platform for AUM. It includes all the resources you need for your academic journey such as:

  • Important announcements for students
  • The list of courses you are registered in
  • The live classes that you have to attend, the courses material and assignments
  • Important students’ links (e.g. your schedule, your attendance, and your grades)
  • Live chat tool to contact student affairs advisors

Q4 – How to join a class live session?

You can join a live class as follows:

  • Go to AUM Website
  • Click on Student Links
  • Click on My AUM Portal
  • Scroll to My Course
  • Click on the course that you want to attend
  • Scroll to the current week
  • Click on the “BBB” link then click on “Join session” button in the next page

Q5 – Where to find the academic regulations and policies?

Academic regulations and policies are available on Moodle:

AUM Website –> Student Links –> My AUM Portal –> Student Links –> Downloads –> “AUM Student Handbook” / “AUM Attendance Policy”

Q6 – What to do in case I cannot join my online session?

If you cannot join the session, try the following:

  • Check your internet connection
  • Change your location in your room or home
  • Try to logout and login again to Moodle
  • Contact student affairs through live chat and describe your issue
